In this one-day workshop, Rossy Sanchez, going to take you through three tenets of emotional intelligence that I deem most important to get you back to you: self-awareness, self-compassion and passion or sense of purpose.

The purpose of this workshop is to guide you back to yourself, back to your purpose, your passion, what makes you come alive, so that you can create a love-filled happy life for yourself and others. But it all has to begin with you.

Find Yourself

As you become self-aware, you start to acknowledge and reconnect with your true self by monitoring your feelings from moment to moment, which then allows you to manage your emotions, as opposed to taking off with them, and repeating hurtful patterns that keep you stuck.

When you’re self-aware, you’re not only able to recognize your own emotions, but also those of others, which can lead to a greater understanding and appreciation of those around you and can result in better communication and more rewarding relationships.

Accept Yourself

When you focus on being self-critical, self-deprecating, on not being worthy, you perpetuate that, and attract people, circumstances and events that will make it come true for you. In essence, you create our own self-fulfilling prophesy.

Instead, the focus needs to be on accepting yourself as you are. Because only when you do, are you then free to take responsibility for the changes you want to make and proceed to make them.

Be Yourself

Often times we do what others expect of us and go through life pleasing others, detached from who we truly are and in denial of our full potential.

But once you tap into what makes you come alive and start to create a path for yourself that you adore, you’ll find that your life becomes more purposeful, creative and rewarding, and you’ll start to attract the things, people, circumstances, and events that make for a happy life, regardless of what’s going on around you.

How we achieve self-awareness, self-compassion and revel in a sense of purpose is through mindfulness. Mindfulness is simply paying attention to the present moment. It provides the space to observe, provides peace, clarity, knowingness, and allows you to see not only what’s going on but where your thoughts and emotions are at any given moment without judgments and with great curiosity and openness.

The workshop includes a delicious continental breakfast and light, nutritious lunch, as well as a 15-minute 3+ things photo shoot that requires that you make a list of the things you love about yourself. This introspective exercise can prove extremely valuable in growing your confidence and self-satisfaction.
